The Porch Collection Estate Sales

Hi! I'm Janis Walters, owner of The Porch Collection Estate Sales.  

As a leading provider of estate sale services, I am dedicated to my clients to meet their needs at an emotional and difficult time, whether their loved one(s) are deceased or are transitioning to an assisted living or retirement home.

I was in the antique business as owner of a shop for 12 years in Dallas on Travis & Knox Streets near the Highland Park community.  I began attending estate sales in the early 1970's and 1980's. During my years in the antique business and estate sales business, I have done extensive research of many kinds of antique furniture, glassware, and collectibles.  When I moved to Sherman 33 years ago I worked for Murray Nance doing clerical work and conducting estate sales.  

I also worked at Denison Industries, Medical Plaza Hospital and for 15 years at Texoma Medical Center in the Foundation & Development Department.  After retirement I established my business The Porch Collection Estate Sales.  We have now been in business for almost 12 years.
